A child’s
sacred soul, when ready to manifest on earth, is called by the creator
to pick a calabash from the infinite heavenly array. The choice
determines their earthly conception, birth and life. This ancient
Yoruba reverence for the ‘head’ is proverbial. The soles of two feet
refer to a prayer to remain true to one’s heavenly origin. “Wherever
the head takes one, may the feet follow to that spot”. |
